Tülpa - "Dazed"

None

From morning to night, it poured in New York. My rainy days have go to soundtracks (typically, a lot of Burial, Elliott Smith, Jamie Woon, and D’Angelo get played), but the perfect accompaniment to time spent indoors avoiding the dreary gray of wet concrete is ever a work in progress.

“Dazed” (the handiwork of talented 15-year-old Ukraine-born producer Tülpa) sounds like rain beating against windows and city streets. A gorgeous, delicate piano anchors an otherwise meandering, gently clattering composition, warmed by bass, but never so much so that it abandons its mournful beauty.

Listen to “Dazed” below, download it here, and toss it on your rainy day playlist (or use it to start one if that’s something lacking in your library).
