When it comes to interviewing celebrities, it’s not uncommon for the discussion to come with certain stipulations. Often, these rules are in regards to the individual’s personal life: no questions about who they are or aren’t dating, their family, their children etc. Killer Mike and El-P’s guidelines though, are different. Posted on El-P’s Instagram, the duo has outlined three “Do Not Asks” for interviewees. And they’re awesome:
DO NOT ASK:
1) How we met
2) What we think about the state of hip hop
3) How we feel about other artists
In setting these guidelines, the duo has eliminated the possibility of interviewers digging for some kind of potential dirt and instead refocused the conversation back on what Run The Jewels does so well: the music.
