Punk Rock Recommendations: Cerebral Ballzy Share Some of Their Favorite Songs

1.

In 2013, punk is a niche scene. Insiders know it well, outsiders are out of touch. Punk isn't a trendy genre these days, but thanks to bands like Brooklyn-based punks Cerebral Ballzy, it is well and truly alive and kicking. The band recently signed to Cult Records, the label run by none other than Julian Casablancas, who describes them as “probably the coolest band in the world at the moment, a truly legit modern hardcore/punk band, and by far my favorite." Zane Lowe premiered their new song "Better In Leather," on his show recently, while the band's next record is scheduled for 2014.

We asked Cerebral Ballzy to share ten of their favorite songs with us, so if you want to discover some great music, from punk to French folk and beyond, read on.
