Shlohmo dropped another gorgeous remix this week, reworking Haerts “Wings” into a horse of a different color. Haerts’ pop anthem is stretched out like taffy, slowed down to a funeral dirge and topped with some high-end pops and whistles. Then Shlohmo starts to do what he does best, adding some deep synths and making the remix as wide as it is long. This thing is gigantic.
The L.A.-based producer has been on a bit of a tear recently, most recently remixing Laura Mvula and Electric Guest, and Samo Sound Boy. He possesses abilities that are better described as gifts. Stream Shlohmo’s “Wings” remix below:
