So far, Manchester’s Bipolar Sunshine has been all over the place. That’s not a bad thing. From the stripped down “Fire” to the upbeat energy of “Rivers,” he’s shown the ability to jump from style to style. On his latest, “Drowning Butterflies,” he takes on a slightly more pop sound that settles into a head-in-the-clouds chorus. The one consistent thing with all his work is that he somehow manages to capture a genre-melding style that feels both natural and completely unique.

Bipolar Sunshine’s Drowning Butterflies EP comes out November 11. You can pre-order it now.
