Ever wanted to own an original piece of art by The xx, St. Vincent, or Vampire Weekend? Well now you can. Australian radio station FBi have asked musicians and bands to decorate a plain white canvas using fabric markers whenever they stop by the studio, and are now auctioning the works off to provide funds to continue grassroots support for great local music, art and culture in Sydney.
The canvases range from the surreal to the simplistic (shout out Disclosure), but regardless of their quality it’s an interesting little peek into the minds of some pretty big name musicians. Click through the gallery above to see the best and most interesting.
