Apparently Arcade Fire has been catching some flak for asking their fans to wear formal attire for their Reflektor shows. The band played smaller shows before the album’s release that were strictly black tie, and they’re asking fans to do the same for the arena tour.
Win Butler had already addressed the issue earlier this month, telling a U.K. crowd “to anyone who felt uncomfortable dressing up — I’m not sorry… At least 70 percent of you are getting laid tonight… As long as you showered. That’s the secret, boys.”
