Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill" is Going to Be a Musical

Broadway has seen some pretty horrible shit. From Spider Man to the atrocious Carrie (but why?), there have been some blips in the history of Broadway musicals. Whether or not the forthcoming Jagged Little Pill—yes, the 1995 Alanis Morissette album of the same title—musical will flop, it’s hard to say. Currently, Morissette is working alongside Tom Kitt (music supervisor and orchestrator of the Green Day rock opera, American Idiot) on a “full jukebox version” of Morissette’s record, along with new songs and arrangements.

So all you Broadway musical enthusiasts/die-hard Alanis Morissette fans out there: keep your fingers crossed. As for the rest of you, keep on WTF-ing, because this is as random as random gets.
