Video: Dream Koala - "Odyssey"

Dream Koala‘s “Odyssey” feels like a dream. You hear that a lot about music—so much that it doesn’t even mean anything anymore—but then something like this comes along and reminds you. Dream Koala is a young producer from Paris who now lives in Berlin, and a couple of months ago I played a little game of fill-in-the-blanks with him. Read that below, then float away to the visuals of “Odyssey” above.

I started making music  when I was 14 years old.

The first album I ever owned was  the first The Lord Of The Rings soundtrack.

Tyler, The Creator and Lil B taught me everything I know about life.

Don’t ever tell me that free jazz and death metal are just noise.

I think Berlin is better than Paris.

My favorite musician right now is Twigs.

If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be cute girls’ souls.

If I could only listen to one album for the rest of my life it would  be “Mongrel” from The Number Twelve Looks Like You.

Lil Wayne is ugly.

I’m afraid of myself, death and insects.

If I get famous, I promise that I will do all I can to promote unknown artists that I think are talented.
