There was no need for Cults to depart from the well received style of garage rock mixed with pop melodies that they used so successfully on their debut album, and by the sounds of the first two songs we’ve heard from the band’s upcoming sophomore effort, they haven’t. Both “I Can Make You Mine” and “High Road” are sweet and melody driven, and now the latter has a sleek black and white video accompaniment.
