None

Lou Reed, frontman of the Velvet Underground and one of the most influential rock artists of all time, has died today, Rolling Stone reports. He was 71 years old.

While Lou may best be remembered as the Velvet Underground lead singer and for his work with Andy Warhol, he also had a long and successful solo career and continued to stay involved with music, even during the last years of his life. He’s cited as an influence by artists from all genres, from punk rock to hip-hop, and he’ll forever be remembered as an iconic New Yorker.

Reed received a liver transplant earlier this year, but no official cause of death has been revealed yet.

Rest in peace, Lou Reed.
