Fallulah‘s got a dramatic, limber voice that you wouldn’t necessarily expect to work for ’80s-esque pop, and her single, “Dragon,” isn’t exactly that. But then come MS MR, who flips this into a skittering, throwback jam by removing the dramatic percussions from the original, and injecting jabbing synths and a prominent bassline that suddenly makes you pay attention to the playfulness in Fallulah’s voice.
