The Most Embarrassing Moments in Pigeons & Planes History

A lot of things have changed in the last five years. From our early days of reckless music blogging and ignorance to any trace of journalistic integrity, we've learned a lot, but it hasn't been easy. Along the way, we've enjoyed some great music, but we've also made a few mistakes and been through some shameful times. Looking back on our old posts is sometimes downright embarrassing, but we've decided to embrace it. In celebration of our fifth birthday, we take a look back at some of our most embarrassing posts ever.

Here's another one that started off as an inside joke and ended up in a post that made no sense. You would have thought by this point that we would have learned that inside jokes don't work as posts, but clearly we did not learn this. In this post, we simply Photoshopped Mr. Hudson in different places. Good thinking, team.

We could probably combine all of Confusion's Lykke Li posts into one big mess of embarrassment, but a couple of them stand out. First of all, once he actually compiled the 50 best Lykke Li pictures. Nothing else, no music, no commentary, no insight into her talent, career, or evolution. It was just 50 pictures that he probably had sitting around on his desktop. But that's not the most embarrassing. The most embarrassing was when he wrote Lykke Li a poem. Again, why do "journalism" when you can just write your favorite pop stars poetry? Ugh.

One time Lindsay Lohan tweeted about Pigeons & Planes. Confusion lost his shit and made an entire post that just said, "HEY LOOK LINDSAY TWEETED ABOUT PIGEONS & PLANES." Soon after, she deleted her tweet. We have no proof that this was directly because of Confusion's tasteless post, but it probably was. Also, what's more embarrassing: making a whole post about a Lindsay Lohan tweet or the fact that P&P was posting Karmin?

Confusion flexed his MS Paint skills multiple times in the early years of P&P, but this one that he made for this post is exceptional. Guys, Example is pointing at Pigeons & Planes! Swoop. You'll also notice that in the blog's early years, there was no convention for headlines. We would write whatever we were inspired to write.
