Best Songs of the Week

I prefer the second half of Danny Brown's OLD. There are some cool songs on Side A—"The Return" is great and "25 Bucks" is brilliant—but Side B as a whole is what keeps getting those replays. Things start off with a bang on "Side B (Dope Song)," with Rustie proving adpet at creating the most monstrous, heavyweight beats for Danny Brown to go in over. All three Rustie produced tracks are gems, "Dip" is a monster, but "Handstand," produced by the UK's Darq E Freaker, just edges it, courtesy of that squiggly synth line and Brown's unhinged spitting. - Constant Gardner
