Brooklyn synthpop magicians St. Lucia has announced an early stream of their debut album, When The Night. The band is headed by Jean-Philip Grobler. He also produced the album, with help from friends like Chris Zane (Passion Pit) and Rich Costey (Muse, Foo Fighters).

It’s a completely bizarre concept, bringing electronica to the tropics, but St. Lucia is so self-assured in their delivery and optimism that the album floats by without a hitch. We’ve already heard “Elevate,” and the relentless shimmers and shines therein find plenty of company scattered amongst Grobler’s vocals. The album doesn’t officially come out until next week, but you can listen below via MTV.
