Late Night With Jimmy Fallon has been killing it with their musical guests lately. First was Kanye West’s surprise appearance, followed by an excellent rendition of “Byegone” from Volcano Choir and now we get MGMT playing in scuba gear. The band, who is set to release their upcoming self-titled album next week, apparently took the idea behind their song “Plenty of Girls in the Sea,” quite literally, as they outfitted themselves in flippers, goggles and wetsuits for the performance. They also played the album’s first single, “Alien Days” for a web exclusive. Check out replays of both above and below.
