Tomorrow, Florida rapper Robb Bank$ releases his new mixtape Tha City, a long delayed collection of one of the Tumblrspheres more intriguing and rawly talented rappers. As one last teaser before the tape, the young emcee lets new single “On Me” loose. Over thunderously gothic production, Bank$ continues to carve a persona based of outlandish threats and lean-heavy sexual encounters; most notable, though, is his knack for choruses, a stealthy gift still in development (last seen on “All the Way Live” and online breakout “Look Like Basquiat“) aided considerably by the natural present of a compelling voice.
