Let’s be honest, lyric videos suck. They just do. Like, there must have been a study on these things funded by labels that somehow proved that they’re effective because they keep happening, but lyric videos are usually just terrible things that make you feel like:

– You’re a child learning words in a “fun” way.
– You’re drunk person at a karaoke bar.
– You’re being force-fed a song, like “LEARN THE WORDS AND KEEP THEM IN YOUR BRAIN”

But M.I.A., as usual, does things in a more interesting way, and despite being stuck with the ugly name of “lyric video,” this clip is pretty great. And it gives us another chance to listen to the impossibly catchy, Switch-produced “Come Walk With Me.”
