Despite the fact that Tame Impala‘s Lonerism is, for all intents and purposes, a psych-rock album (and therefore may not sit well with everyone), there’s a very timeless quality to their single, “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards.” Swedish sisters Say Lou Lou (p.k.a. Saint Lou Lou) agree as they take on the song and create a beautifully serene rendition of the already gorgeous original. It’s still recognizably Tame Impala, but not without the sisters leaving quite an impression with their soft, soothing vocals and lovely harmonies. Listen to the cover below.
