Everything we’ve heard from Blaenavon so far has been excellent, and especially impressive considering the band are still only teenagers. Their new Koso EP is out at the end of September, and they’ve followed up the propulsive “Prague” with a slower, softer song called “Wunderkind.” Showing off a more restrained side, the band prove that hushed vocals and subtle strings suit them just as much as powerful choruses and raucous instrumentation.

The Koso EP is out September 23 on Transgressive. Listen to “Wunderkind” below.
