Arthur Beatrice‘s debut Carter EP impressed us with its elegant sounds and crisp production, and they’ve followed it up with another delightfully slow-paced single. “Grand Union” has a strange and beautiful mix of really calm, clean-cut production and some dark, violent imagery in the lyrics, and the band makes sure these contradictory elements complement each other rather than clash. “Grand Union” will be released November 4, with Arthur Beatrice’s debut album, which is already recorded, due for release early next year.
