Present at this year’s Made In America festival was Top Dawg Entertainment’s Black Hippy crew (Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, and Ab-Soul). Easily considered to be one of the hardest working crews in the game (mostly in part to Kendrick completely bodying 2013), Black Hippy’s an exciting collective of rappers to watch, and Jay Z’s Life+Times got to document their time on the road during the days leading up to their appearance at M.I.A.. Watch them talk about their hometown, their current place in the rap game, and more, above.
