Video: South London Ordnance ft. Brolin - "Black Acre"

Just yesterday, masked man Brolin wowed us with the clattering electronic pop of “Portland,” and he’s cropped up again today on this haunting, uncomfortable, and totally engrossing track by producer South London Ordnance. Leaving his usual gritty strains of house and techno behind, “Black Acre” sees South London Ordnance interweaving Brolin’s feather light vocals with gauzy textures and skittering drums, with results that are (especially when paired with the video above) both ominous and beautiful.

“Black Acre” is from the He Do The Police In Different Voices EP, which came out yesterday, and can be bought here.
