Fyfe is a London prodigy who’s already done his fair share of impressing with original tracks like “Solace” and “Conversations.”
But apparently the young chap can chop and screw the works of others into masterpieces too. It’s tough to take a good song and make it better, but that’s just what happened with Fyfe’s remix of Summer Camp‘s “Fresh,” a summery anthem suddenly stripped of all excess and flipped into an orchestra of human voices and rhythmic Phoenix guitars.
The whole thing becomes a moodier reflection on the rose-tinted nostalgia of a first love—which in most cases is probably a memory a little closer to the truth. Stream Fyfe’s remix below, then try out the original.
