Prides are a Glasgow-based trio who make rock-infused dream pop seem easy. With huge instrumental lines that revel in synths and soaring, echoed choruses, their latest track “Run & Jump” reveals that the group have more chops than just another indie pop band perpetuating sounds of the moment.

There’s a darker foundation to this track and the Scottish brogue tinged rapping of John Lowis aka Louie from Hector Bizerk cements this as an original, innovative track in a realm of sound that can tend toward of sameness. For a different side of Prides check out their initial single “Out of the Blue” and watch for a lot more from this Scottish trio.
