These days, so much good pop music has shifted into the electronic realm. Things are getting glitchy, robotic, and drowned in synths. WE ARE TWIN’s “The Way We Touch” is a much-needed return to good pop with a soulful, human touch. The duo consists of Germany-raised Sri Lankan multi-instrumentalist and producer Nicholas Balachandran and New York-born and bred singer songwriter Gabi Christine. The two are now based in L.A. and they manage to balance an organic feel with a clean, polished finish. Fans of Amy Winehouse should appreciate.
