London Grammar - "Interlude"

Hannah Reid's spiritual voice leads London Grammar through the darkly lit pop of their latest "Interlude."

London Grammar have been quietly reeling us in, doling out new tracks from their debut album If You Wait which is out on September 9. Their latest, “Interlude” keeps things in the slow lane, never reaching a climactic peak like a lot of their darkly pop songs, but it feels all the more powerful for what it holds back. The London-based trio are led by the spiritual vocals of Hannah Reid, the way she controls her voice is an art in itself, conveying desire and despair in a twist of a note here and a drawn out syllable there.

On “Interlude” she captures the forever-seeming gap of time between leaving a lover and the coming reunion. Stream it below and pre-order their album here.
