Kwes is one of many British producers to look out for, but so far this year we’ve heard him mostly working with Bobby Womack and Damon Albarn and producing for Valentina. Today, he announces that he’ll be stepping back into the spotlight with his own debut album ilp. His new track, inspired by his grandparents’ love, showcases his knack for a simple, clean pop song mixed with a more experimental style. Listen to “36” below.
