Felix Snow has been busy lately. After recently producing electro-R&B singer (and new TDE signee) SZA’s excellent “Julia,” the producer is releasing some new material of his own. Despite it’s somewhat gloomy title, “This Pool Party Feels Like a Funeral” is in fact an energetic, catchy offering that perfectly combines a funky bassline, pops of percussion and smooth vocals courtesy of Various Cruelties. It’s a completely different feel than the one depicted in his work on “Julia,” showcasing an exciting and unique range Snow has as a producer.
