Video Premiere: Cold War Kids - "Water and Power"

None

The Cold War Kids released their fourth studio album Dear Miss Lonelyhearts back in April via Downtown Records and on the heels of the initial single “Miracle Mile,” Pigeons & Planes is premiering their video for “Water and Power.” The black and white clip flips through the elements of water, light and the more human artifacts of polaroids, and handwritten lyrics on scraps of paper.

Amidst the water and scribbles of the visuals, Nathan Willett’s signature tenor voice carries the melodies in and out of staccato drums, thrusting guitar lines and distant piano. Watch the visuals below or for more background on the making of the album read our interview with the group from earlier this year. Buy Dear Miss Lonelyhearts here.
