If you still can’t place exactly where Elliphant‘s music belongs, this isn’t going to help. The Swedish singer first caught our attention with the infectious pop of “Down On Life,” but for “Music is Life” she recorded in her home country and also in Jamaica with roots & reggae artist Ras Fraser Jr., blending styles for a mish-mash of sounds that might be confusing if it didn’t carry itself so naturally. Plus, with a video as fun as this one, it’s not even worth trying to figure out. Elliphant is currently working on her debut album.
