Rhye took to the small screen for the first time last night, performing their sumptuous “The Fall” on Jimmy Kimmel. There were indeed people on the stage, but the performance is notable for the dramatic backlighting that leaves the band almost completely anonymous. It’s a cool effect, and does well to highlight the moody brush-snare mystery that weaves in and out of their debut album “Woman.” Stream the performance above.
