We named Qtier, the project of London-based musicians Adam and Howard, one of the best new artists of 2013 (so far) off the strength of just three songs, all of which incorporated gorgeously subtle electronic flourishes and delicate vocals. Now the duo are back with a new four-track EP, which, from the sounds of “Anything Other,” will be just as impressive as their previous releases. The track builds slowly and steadily, with haunting strings and soft pads only being joined by the plaintive vocals a minute in.
