Franz Ferdinand have always been a bit quirky, but their latest set of visuals for “Love Illumination” really ups the ante. Taking a page out of Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange (and thankfully, not one out of Die Antwoord’s always-visually assaulting music videos, though it’s getting there), the mask-adorned band is in some sort of fantastical dystopia alongside members of this alternate universe, dressed in strange, unsettling costumes. To say that it’s freaky is a bit of an understatement, so approach this one with caution. Watch the visuals for “Love Illumination” above.
