Beck unexpectedly released “Defriended,” an experimental, synth-enhanced one-off single, at the beginning of June, and he’s back to help us kick-off July with another one-off release. “I Won’t Be Long” is chugging, sludgy, and typically excellent Beck song, which should help build anticipation for the two albums (one of which is wholly acoustic) he’s planning to release this year.
