The Best EDM of the Week

Do you other sites really listen to dance music, or do you just skim through it? DAD can never tell. Maybe that's why we still curate Pigeons & Planes

2. Hucci - "YEAAH!"

Of course we had this on last week's list, too. The full version dropped during the Super Bowl. What, you thought we were going to NOT include this? Hucci's got the knack, and flipping some Motown on this track is what we need, everyday.

3. Skream - "Kreepin'"

Skream's the master, end of story. This got a preview a month or so ago, and this week Skream let it go for free. RIP Aaliyah, may you live in UK house heaven for at least a few months.

4. Kendrick Lamar - “B*tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe (Atlantic Connection Remix)”

There have been a bunch of remixes of Kendrick Lamar tracks that I've kept from you guys for good reason. Most of them are shitty, basically. Atlantic Connection is a producer you can trust; he flips the sample from this Lamar track and let's it ride of some soulful drum & bass vibes.

5. araabMUZIK - "The Prince is Coming"

So glad araabMUZIK Is back with a new instrumental mixtape on February 15. The percussion on this one? Beau-ti-ful.

6. DJ Fresh & Diplo - "Up"

DJ Fresh is known mostly for drum & bass, although his dubstep has turned heads. This is the first we've heard of him making trap music, and it makes sense that he'd link up with Diplo to help feel his way around the genre. Taken from GTA's "Death to Genres Vol. 1" Mix.

7. Gorgon City ft. Yasmin - "Real"

Feels like that new house vibe is turning more heads. Gorgon City is part of that sound that Disclosure seem to be spearheading, and we could live in this track all day.

8. Codes - "In Your Brain"

Codes is a NY house producer that pals around with DJ Craze and A-Trak, and likes to make disco-tinged tracks with M.O.P. samples. He wins.

9. Kill The Noise – “BLVCK MVGIC (Kill the Noise Pt. 2)”

Kill the Noise hooks up a twisted claymation horror flick for the title track off of his OWSLA EP from last Fall. Not for the squeamish.

10. Sidney Samson - "The World is Yours (Valentino Khan Remix)"

Valentino Khan's #TRAPTHURSDAYS series continues on, and this week he flips a classic Sidney Samson electro track into a lethal trap anthem.

11. Zeds Dead - "Demon"

Zeds Dead linked up with the choreographer on Black Swan in the first video from a series presented by Belvedere Vodka. Tell me again how EDM's not rising through the mainstream?

As a bonus, if you're feeling bummed about Nemo, grab their "Snowstorm Mix."
