Every now and then, you come across a pair of songs that just belong together. A lot of mash-ups suck because they’re forced and/or terribly stitched together, but when the artist finds the common thread that runs through two songs, a mash-up can be a beautiful thing. This mix of Kanye West‘s “Black Skinhead” and Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus” works perfectly. It’s the work of Chambaland (Dan Chamberlain), and it’s called “Personal Yeezus,” because what else would it be called? Listen below.
Completely unrelated aside: I still need someone to mash up Miike Snow’s “Animal” with a sped up “I Know Places” by Lykke Li.
