As a man with his finger in many a musical pie, Joe Goddard always seems to be releasing something, whether as part of Hot Chip, The 2 Bears, or as a producer putting out solo material on the Greco-Roman label which he also runs. His most recent project is a four track solo EP which was released last week (June 21), and includes “Step Together,” a collaboration with German house producer Boris Dlugosch. The song is a smooth stepper that boasts a bouncy piano melody and some soft vocals from Joe Goddard, with the overall result sounding like an off-cut from the most recent Hot Chip album, 2012’s In Our Heads.
