Mysterious Swedish duo jj have been quiet for too long now, having last blessed our ears with the hip-hop referencing dreamscape pop of the High Summer EP in July of 2012. Where the tracks of that EP for the most part repurposed hip-hop and R&B lyrics with weird and hazy results, jj’s new track “Fågelsången,” which they just shared on their blog, is more of a fully fledged love song, with greater clarity to the vocals and production alternating between tumultuous and softly swooning.
