Jamie Isaac’s debut EP is out soon, and after releasing the elegant video for “Softly Draining Seas” earlier in the week, the young Londoner (and sometime King Krule collaborator) has shared another new song. “Can See (Part 1)” is even more sparse than his previous tracks, with little more than a gorgeous piano melody and Isaac’s voice to entertain and entrance you with tales of woe and loss. But what a voice it is. Pure yet delicate, with just the right amount of quavering fragility to really sell the song’s loneliness, Isaac is clearly a talent to keep your eyes on.
