2. CHVRCHES - "Recover"
Damn, so catchy. Heard this for the first time right before eating some soup and by the end of the song I was so hooked that I couldn't help but sing along but I didn't know the words so I just sang in gibberish and all the soup dribbled out my mouth and I stained my fave shorts but fuck those shorts anyway because it's 2013 and I'm about to get some new style, you crumbs.

4. Magic Man - "Paris"
I imagine that when Magic Man played this for the first time, they all felt really happy about it. Plopping away on their instruments, they all probably looked around the room and smirked and winked at each other. Then as the chorus kicked in, one or two of them probably peed a little while a third squealed. Afterward they definitely high-fived and and nodded at each other like, "Yep, this is the one" as warm urine slowly dripped down their legs before getting sopped up by their socks.
6. Grouplove - "Ways To Go"
This is so catchy it'll makes you act corny, like when you get too excited while you're talking and your voice cracks. Then you have to pause and clear your throat, as if that voice-crack was some kind of technical error on your throat's part, and not just you getting too excited to control your shit.

8. Tove Lo - "Habits"
When the wise @JennsDrunk first described Tove Lo, she said, "Tove Lo is what I imagine Ke$ha could have been if she wasn’t awful." TRUE.

10. Joywave ft. KOPPS - "Tongues"
This song is so damn catchy that the first time I heard it, I started a new dance. I don't dance much because I'm forever uncomfortable in my own skin, but this track had me dancing my dick off like young Drake at a Bar Mitzvah.
12. Smallpools - "Dreaming"
This song is so instantly gratifying in its catchiness that it will literally make your day better. For the rest of the day you'll be using emojis and trying to hug your friends.
14. Firehorse - "Bloodstream"
Firehorse has MGMT's knack for melody (you can hear a little "Time to Pretend" in this one) but in "Bloodstream," the key is in that production and delivery—so catchy it's hard to believe that this Brooklyn group isn't from Scandinavia.
16. Max Frost - "White Lies"
Gnarls Barkley level catchiness right here. Upbeat songs driven by acoustic guitar are always catchy though, aren't they? Are they? Challenge: find an upbeat acoustic song that's not catchy and leave it in the comments section.

18. Deptford Goth - "Union"
The vocals at the beginning of "Union" lead you to believe that this song might be one of those timid, sensitive joints that's good for like, drinking tea or writing in a journal or whatever people with feelings do. But then at 1:00 in, that chorus comes in. You can definitely still drink tea to this, but its catchiness is far too distracting for journal entry time.

20. Coasts - "Oceans"
Damn, if this song was played during a climactic scene on Laguna Beach, Coasts would be semi-famous right now and kids in SUVs would be driving to the beach like, "We fell in loooooove, right by the ooocean."
