BRTSH KNIGHTS are a mysterious Ninja Tune-signed London-based production collective who’s debut double A-side release (which is out now) shows off two sides to their polished production style. First up was “If I Was To,” an upbeat slice of summery fun with a swinging garage beat, which was followed by the slower paced “Hazed,” a mix of underground London dance music influenced production and hazy R&B vocals. The two tracks are joined by remixes from EL-B and Mono/Poly, and the former is an absolute gem of a re-work, with enough bass to shatter your ribs, as well as a delicate, fluttering little flute melody.
