Daughter‘s music is skeletal. Even when the backdrops are whole with drums, guitars, and keys, there’s an element of emptiness there, and there is a temptation to wrap those bones in muscle, nerves, and skin. Australian producer Ta-Ku has had his heart set on remixing Daughter’s “Love” for a while, and today he gives us “Love Lost,” his remix that fills out the song and maintains the gloomy vibe beautifully.
