We see a lot of really random shit every week. Deciding what to post and what to ignore is a constant balancing act that requires much skill, judgment, and discretion. Sometimes it depends on how drunk we are or how trollish we're feeling. Instead of simply letting these things pass us by, we decided to keep track of them and gather them all together for this post, which we'll do weekly, maybe. These are the kinds of things P&P writers email each other like, "ROFL omg WOW." Welcome to the party.

One of the perks of being good at what you do is getting to visit places like Studio 8H.

Ever since 20-year-old Chance the Rapper dropped his fantastic mixtape, Acid Rap, last week, the buzz around him has been so loud it's almost deafening. Despite this, Chance still has his moments of insecurities (he is 20, after all). Recently he sat down with MTV Hive, and he opened up about a few of the changes he's experienced since becoming the music world's next big thing.

On Kanye West:

Nah. I would freak the fuck out [if he called me]. I’m not even going to lie, I would freak the fuck out. I don’t know what I would say if he called me. I would probably say… I don’t know. I’ve never met ‘Ye. I’ve never even been close to ‘Ye. I would probably ask to meet him and hear some of the records from Good Ass Job that never came out. On his dating life:

I do have problems a lot in that area, often. I’m just so ugly in the face. That’s probably my main problem, but this mixtape will help. I’m at the stage where I’ll take anything I can get. Let’s hope for these hoes.

The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture at the New York Public Library posted this photo from 1933 of a man in Harlem who, clearly, bears a striking resemblance to Jay-Z. This naturally set off a fire storm on the Internetz because people had a lot of questions. Was this Jay-Z? A relative? Could Jay-Z time travel? Is this part of the Illuminati conspiracy? The center didn't release any other details, but one thing we can confirm for you is that whoever this is definitely was the inventor of mean muggin'.

Major Lazer decided to give us some insight regarding what sort of shit goes down at a Major Lazer show. Really, though, relative to how crazy their shows get, there really isn't that much clean up.
