The Child Of Lov’s self-titled debut album, which just happens to feature DOOM and Damon Albarn, is out May 6, and today the Amsterdam based artist has released a cheeky five track mixtape called Crying Thunder. With four original tracks, and a cover of The Beatles’ “Helter Skelter,” it’s a skewed, psychedelic quarter of an hour journey into Cole Williams’ world, where dusty hip-hop thump, soul, and R&B collide in a wilfully weird melange of sounds and textures.
