Sometimes you spend a weekend away from your computer, you come back, and the flood of information makes you feel right at home–perhaps too at home, too back in the swing of things.

Other times you sit down at your computer and Kilo Kish is covering the lone hit single of Jordan Knight, former member of New Kids on the Block and brief staple on MTV’s TRL. With a suitably slinky, sexy beat from producer Caleb Stone to accompany her, Kish manages to turn Knight pop’n’B into something alluring. It’s weird and wonderful, fitting in perfectly with the current drippy R&B revival happening across Soundcloud, save for the fact that it is, at the end of the day, a Jordan Knight cover–words that have never been written on Pigeons and Planes (I checked) and are unlikely to pop up again anytime soon.

Savor it all.
