XXL Magazine recently released their annual Freshman class, with this year including the likes of Action Bronson, Joey Bada$$, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Angel Haze. Today the magazine released a mixtape of new material from their group and one of the tracks features Haze dropping her signature ferocious verses over Purity Ring’s pretty, ethereal “Lofticries.” It’s an interesting pairing, but Haze’s stylistic grittiness kind of works here.
