A few weeks ago, Cassie dropped her Rock-A-Bye Baby mixtape; a collection that marked her first official release since 2006. Complete with abundant guest verses and Cassie’s signature sensually hypnotizing vocals, the record was an impressive return to the music scene. One of the standouts on the the mixtape is a Rick Ross assisted banger entitled “Numb,” a track as infectious as it is smooth. Now, thanks to the skilled reworking of producer Austin Millz, we get a remix that is quite possibly more mesmerizing than the original. Millz slows down the song and amps up the background percussion to create a rendition that’s just as convincing as the original. Hell, even Waka Flocka’s given the track a Twitter thumbs up.
