So far, Kenzie May has made her mark through features, but “Hide & Seek” is her first step toward establishing herself as a solo artist. Often times that first step is a shaky one, but Kenzie May sounds confident, polished, and sure-footed. “Hide & Seek” starts off as an alluring piece of pop, but a little over a minute into the song it expands into a delectable, lush, and commanding tune that shows off the 19-year-old’s sultry vocals and taste for big hooks.
