There’s definitely a cosmopolitan air to this remix, as Jamie N Commons, who grew up in America and is now based in London, has the rollicking “Rumble And Sway” remixed by Parisian producer Monsieur Adi. Jamie possesses a careworn, whisky soaked growl, and first impressed us singing the blues on the unashamedly throwback-feel, Rick Rubin produced “The Preacher.” On this remix, however, Monsieur Adi has introduced extra helpings of bass, and soaring synth work, managing to propel Jamie’s vocals into the future, without losing any of their raw passion.
